New law prohibits import of food products

A new law on Food and Food Security that prohibits an individual from importing food products and goods from foreign countries will be enforced from March 1st. Only authorized entities will be allowed to import food products through customs according to the new law, but individuals will not be allowed to import food products.

Any attempt by an individual to import food products will not be allowed and the individual will be forced to send back the illegally imported food products on their own expense.

Officials close to the matter warn that if an individual fails to send back any illegally imported food products it will be destroyed.
