Marblehead woman to discuss Mongolia Peace Corps service
Salem — On Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon, Marblehead resident Judy Gates will share her experiences while serving three years with the Peace Corps in Mongolia, a land where ancient traditions and a nomadic lifestyle still thrive along with cell phones and computers.
Her illustrated presentation, held at the Explorers Lifelong Learning Institute Center, 10 Federal Street, will be accompanied by samples of the local crafts. Donations are appreciated from non-members attending. 978-744-0804 or www.explorerslli.org.
