Acting Committee “Mining Development” established
The plenary session meeting held on last Thursday approved the draft resolution to establish Acting Committee “Mining Development”
There are many issues on hold to be resolved such as to renew the current Law on Mineral Resources, to make amendments on Tavan Tolgoi Investment Agreement, to control mine operations under one policy, to receive regularly current activity’s report and to consider on issuing securities.Total of 18 members of the Parliament, including B.Bat-Erdene J.Batzandan, J.Batsuuri, D.Battsogt, N.Battsereg, S.Byambatsogt, G.Uyanga, Ts.Davaasuren, A.Tleikhan, S.Ganbaatar, Ts.Dashdorj, and Kh.Bolorchuluun submitted the draft resolution =to the parliamentary Speaker Z.Enkhbold in January.
With the formation of the acting committee the above mentioned issues that are being on hold will be brought into the attention and discussion.
